Show at the Southgate House
To everyone in the Cincinnati area: there is a show tonight (October 9) on the top floor of the Southgate House from 7 to 2 in Newport, KY. I am showing some small bronze pieces along with some of the top artists in the area. It should be a good time.

Palm Frond Project
A while back, we got a call at the foundry from a cemetary in Indiana about recreating a bronze palm frond that was stolen from a monument and most likely sold for scrap. We were hired to create a replica to replace the stolen element of the monument. A template was made from the existing mounting points and the remaining eroded stone. I resculpted a new frond from this template and a small photo that was provided by the family. This past month, we wrapped up the project and installed the replica back in the cemetery.

Print Madness
I am a new member to Tiger Lily Press here in Cincinnati and decided to take part in their woodblock calendar for the year 2011. This past weekend, and friend of mine and myself did a marathon print session and pulled over 200 prints between the two of us (204 to be exact) for the calendar project. It was exhausting but a lot of fun at the same time!

New Casting at the Realhot Toy Show
Between new castings, new prints, and the latest efforts of the collective, things have been pretty busy. Here is a shot of a brand new casting for the Arthole RealHot Toy Show at Prairie Gallery. The show runs through September 17. There is alot of great work by the group so try to stop by if you are in the Cincinnati area.
